Healing with Amanda
Hi there! I am Amanda Rodriguez, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, providing telehealth counseling services for the state of Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I pursued my graduate education from Adler University and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have received mentorship and training from the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association to provide EMDR therapy as well as received training and certification as a Sex Therapy Informed Professional.
Additionally, as a certified Reiki Master, I offer distance reiki and intuitive wellness sessions as a standalone wellness service or offered in session for interested clients. I love utilizing a blended approach of healing to best serve diverse client needs with a primary focus on helping adults recover from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, as well as navigate ADHD.
I am of Colombian, Mexican, and Japanese descent and am honored to practice in the ancestral wisdom of healing.
